Breezy Point is building again, and the additions are aimed straight at the resort lifestyle. Breezy Point Resort announced Ace Valley, an $8 million to $10 million par-3 short course with night golf and a three-story clubhouse, and the North Star Roadhouse has opened at the former Billy's location serving smoked meats and craft cocktails. The town around the resort is investing too, with an expanded city hall just ribbon-cut. It adds up to a community that is betting on its own future.
What Is the Ace Valley Project?
Ace Valley is a planned par-3 short course at Breezy Point Resort with a three-story clubhouse featuring three bars and a restaurant, tee boxes built right next to the bar, and night golf under lights. Announced in December 2025 at a reported $8 million to $10 million, it is a different product from the resort's three existing 18-hole courses, Deacon's Lodge, Whitebirch, and the Traditional, which our golf guide covers in detail. Short courses are the fastest-growing segment in golf because they fit into an evening the way an 18-hole round never can, and Breezy Point is betting that the lake crowd wants exactly that. The North Star Roadhouse Is Open
The North Star Roadhouse opened at the former Billy's location, on the corner of Ranchette Drive and County Road 11, managed by Breezy Point Resort. The menu centers on smoked meats from a Southern Pride smoker, paired with craft cocktails, giving the resort community a new casual dining option off the water. It joins the resort's existing lineup, from Antlers Restaurant to the Dockside Lounge, and broadens the dining scene beyond the lakeside spots that anchor the waterfront. Our dining guide on Pelican Lake walks through the rest of the scene. The Town Is Investing Too
The resort is not the only builder in Breezy Point. The city cut the ribbon on a $2.95 million expanded and remodeled City Hall and launched a new city app, while the council has been laying groundwork on infrastructure and short-term rental enforcement for the seasons ahead. Resort investment plus civic investment is a strong combination, since it means the private and public sides of the community are moving in the same direction. What It Means for Buyers
For buyers, the Ace Valley announcement is a signal about the kind of place Breezy Point intends to be: a four-season resort town where the amenities keep getting deeper. A new clubhouse, night golf, and a roadhouse all add reasons for owners to spend more time here and for guests to keep coming back, which supports the resort economy that the whole town depends on. When the resort invests eight figures in its own future, the community's long-term picture gets a little more defined. The Bottom Line
Breezy Point has always been the resort town of Pelican Lake, and the newest projects make it harder to miss the direction it is headed. A par-3 course built for evenings, a roadhouse with a smoker, and a city hall that matches the ambition: it is a town and a resort building in the same direction. For buyers, the timing is a good reason to look now rather than after the ribbon-cuttings.Want to see how the resort energy translates into the local market?
