Chick-fil-A on Excelsior Road

Chick-fil-A plans a drive-thru at 7609 Excelsior Road, replacing the former Bill's Indoor Shooting Range between Fleet Farm and Kohl's. The city council approved permits in September 2025, and after the plans were revised following the Highway 371 overpass project, the June 2026 update targets a 2027 opening. The site sits in the heart of Baxter's retail corridor, so the location itself is a sign of where the town expects traffic to keep building.

What New Drive-Thrus Tell Buyers
